Cheap buggy for a 3 YEAR old

I'd love to pop into London but can no longer face dragging my huge buggy there (or my Maclaren)!
I've seen people with cheaper buggies that look sturdy enough for pavements but light enough to collapse in readiness for a train. My 3 YEAR old daughter is keen to walk - but also keen to nap if we go out for the whole day.
I've seen strollers in Argos. & Mothercare for under £50. Which is best?
