Just took delivery of my new versa and carrycot. The carrycot is SO heavy! Please tell me this is just because I'm heavily pregnant and tired?!!! How the hell will I lift it with another 7+ lbs of baby in it?!!!

I've found mine fine to carry - even with 12 week old DS3 in it (and he's a lump) - so I suspect its because you're heavily pregnant and tired.

Hi OP, I don't have a problem carrying mine, even with a 10lb baby in it, 4 weeks after a c-section, but then I'm not carrying it very far!! ;)

Was it you who started the thread a couple of months back worrying that the Versa carrycot was too small? I've been using it for 4 weeks now and whilst I wouldn't call it particularly roomy, I think my little boy will be fine in it for a few months - whether it'll all fit him at 6 months I'm not sure.

I can assure you though that in all other respects the Versa GT is bloody brilliant!!

Thank you! Suspect I'm knackered! No didn't start thread about size being small and was actually pleasantly surprised by size. I don't think it's too bad! In packing pushchair part tonight and can't wait to see it! Glad you are happy with yours Laquila!

dinkystinky I see from another pram thread you are also on your third! Funny how you look for same practicalities third time round! Uppababy seems very popular but they will curse having to remove seat to fold in parent facing mode and it's large wheel span (smug alert!)

Yes third time round I really know what I want - and I love my versa! Great design.

Just got mine up and running, LOVE it! Now for a baby to put in it! Roll on Nov!
