Ok I've narrowed it down to these doubles for my 2.2 year old and a newborn. I like both I prefer the icandy look of and it's all a bit higher up which feels good on myback. Oyster seat Is bigger for the toddler though, I think. So anybody got any experience Of these 2?

I had the same problem but for my twins. We opted for the Apple to Pear, as the lower seat can recline and that's more important for me than being able to rear face.

I have had both. Does your 2.2 year old nap at all?
The Apple 2 Pear seat is a good size TBH - the issue is more the lack of a footrest which makes a child look bigger than they actually are. My 3 year old rides comfortably in the Apple 2 Pear seats, and I have had my 4 and a half year old in the lower seat. What I like about the Apple 2 Pear is the spacing between the seats. This means that unusually for a tandem, the baby can be reclined in the front seat, and the toddler still has room to sit comfortably underneath which is great when you get to the "hopping in and out" stage and don't want an empty front seat.
I think if you only need a pushchair for 6 months, then the Oyster Max does offer the big seat with good foot length for your toddler. However, after that, it becomes more problematic re which child goes there. The lower seat really has a recline which isn't deep enough for a youngish baby, but will the eldest be happy if you put the baby in the top seat. Difficult decision but unless your eldest is a big child, either pushchair should work well. I would look at the other features and decide what YOU need :)
