Pushchair suitable for buses

I had my heart set on finding an Uppababy Vista but now our circumstances have changed and I will need to use a bus 4 times a day so I disregarded the Vista due to width and bulk.
I will use a baby carrier as much as possible in the first few months but there will also be quite a bit of walking involved and shopping.
Can anyone suggest something even vaguely suitable based on this criteria please?

Suitable from newborn
Parent facing option
Suitable for buses (not too wide/bulky/tricky to fold)
Decent shopping basket
Prefer it to last until toddler stage if possible
Budget isn't over £300 but I intend on finding one second hand.

I immediatedly considered a second hand Bugaboo Bee Plus but after reading some MN reviews I'm a little put off now.
Thanks!

There really aren't a lot of options with this criteria. The njoy bubble is the other parent facing, narrow single fold pushchair. Otherwise everything else is just plain bigger. Do you anticipate having to fold it for the bus whilst holding the baby?

I'd never considered a stroller type but that looks reasonably sturdy and is definitely a maybe. Shame that the easy folds involve two separate handles but I guess one handed pushing isn't crucial.
The buses are buggy friendly but the initial morning school run will be full of children and teens as well as commuters so there is a chance I would have to fold it up occasionally. As long as its not difficult to fold or overly wide compared to others of its type then I think it would be fine.
Thanks for the help, I was getting sick of thinking about pushchairs.

I love thinking about pushchairs Grin

I thought I replied but must not have hit send pre school run and it'sgoneforever.

Paraphrased - do you need a 1 hand fold more than you need parent facing? If you can shop at times not involving buses get vista anyway and good sling that you get on with, then re-assess when baby is older? My opinion is coloured by the fact if I can possibly get away with it I use a sling on buses.

That's a really good idea. I've looked at other options and the only ones I really like are the Uppababy Vista and the Baby Jogger Versa.
If I did go for the Versa then that isn't suitable until 6 months so I would be using slings quite a bit initially anyway. I used lots of slings and carriers with my youngest so I've got a good idea of how to make it work for us.
Thanks you've helped me make a decision. Smile I was beginning to think it'd never happen!
