Maclaren Techno XT new model help please

Yesterday I bought the 'new model' Maclaren Techno XT from mothercare, it was the ex display as they have none in stock-in store or online. However I now think they have sold me an old model. I phoned up and they said it's new as the wheels have the triangle reflector rather than circular but it has the clear sun visor as opposed to silver mesh of 2013 model that it appears to have from my Internet searching. Question is do I take it back as (I think) they have swindled me or does it really not matter? Any advice from Maclaren users?

Hi, I have a 2012 XT and the main differences in the new version I've seen are: extra fabric on the footrest; viewing window on back of hood; triangle reflectors on wheels (mine has rings); safety strap. On the whole though it doesn't look much different at all (the 2013 ones I've seen have all had clear sun visors - I think it's got some sort of uv protection in though, I know my older version supposedly has).
