My Mothercare movix problem

Hello I'm new on here but just wondering if anyone can help me, I brought a movix and after just a couple of months the back wheels became very loose and caused them to lean in at the top and out at the bottom, I took it back and mothercare sent it for repair , got it back a bit better including a few scratches and marks but was told to "see how it goes" , a few wks later it was worse , so back I went , and after a second repair its now worse than ever and the handle bar has now started slipping up or down on its own, which is dangerous ,for example when going down steps and it shoots out and nearly drops out my hand. I took it back on Friday I said I want a refund and all the worker could say was "I'll send it for repair, it's part of our guarantee" over and over ,then just staring at me, I said I'm not happy with another repair but she didn't listen ,I eventually walked out leaving the whole movix but made it quite clear I do not want a 3rd repair but a different pram, they rang for me to go and collect on Monday , what do I do ?? 😭 Sorry it's loooolnnnngggg 😱

Go back to the store and pick up the pushchair, test it before leaving the store. If you are not convinced it is repaired properly insist on seeing the manager and a refund in full as the pushchair is not safe after three repairs. If no joy there say that you will be ringing the head office to report what has happened to you, naming the store and manager, and possibly trading standards for advice. I think you will have to prove that the child using the pushchair is under the weight limit, and that you have not treated the pushchair roughly, i.e. bouncing it down steps.

It is Mothercare's policy never to just replace or refund they just keep on sending them back for repair and more often than not they don't work even then. Then they lend you a pushchair while yours is away. My friend had a whole year of this 14 yrs ago, and they still hadn't repaired the fault. Sadly they are no better at customer service now. A lot of mumsnetters wouldn't use a Mothercare pushchair if they were giving them away.
