An e3 v2 is around 10y old. I had a second hand one for DD2 in 2007 and it was 3+ years old when I got it.

I don't think the cocoons have changed drastically since they were launched.

I had an e3! Phil & Teds' are quite good for spares. It's not hard to track down the spare hinges eg here. They might email you the E3 instructions too. I should think you'd get a cocoon off ebay. Hope the fabric should clean up OK - what colour?

I had a few of those when DD was small! The fabrics come off easily as unlike later models they are not screwed on so you can get them off and clean them up well. Anything that fits in the washing machine, I stuck in there (footwell, basket, second seat, hood) and scrubbed the seat in the bath. You have to be a bit careful with the foam in the seat that it doesn't get wrecked and go lumpy.

The cocoon from pretty much everything will fit, prob not the vibe and verve so well though. The little plastic flap rain cover is a bit different on other models though if you want that.

If it pushes badly you can change the bearings in the back wheels quite easily, you can get them from Phil and teds for a couple of quid, but you will need a few tools and be reasonably handy!

I loved the E3. Felt more sturdy than the later models Smile
