Does this pushchair exist?

I need a pushchair that folds up teeny, parent faces, decent sized basket, reclines and doesn't have an umbrella fold. Also under £200. Am I chasing rainbows??

Um yeah... kind of Grin

If it needs to fold all in one piece then your only option is a used bee.

If you don't mind 2 pieces then the oyster gem is pretty much it, slightly over budget but not by loads.

Thanks! I'm looking at bees now. Do they fit in small car boots? I can't find a gem anywhere, has it been released yet?

My second hand bee cost £150. It's marvellous.

thisisyesterday · 11/08/2013 21:04

hmm
yes!

anything that isn't an umbrella fold and parents faces is not going to fold up teeny

the baby jogger versa is nice, you could pick a second hand one up for around £200, it does everything you want except I wouldn't call it teeny when folded

Rooners · 11/08/2013 21:09

Oh I would...well a lot easier to fit in the car than a bee anyway. It depends what you mean by teeny.

The versa is heavy, but it is very flat when folded. The bee is a lot lighter to lift but it folds badly when PF...

thisisyesterday · 11/08/2013 21:11

teeny to me = quinny yezz or similar!

Rooners · 11/08/2013 21:13

Oh I get you. You're not wrong Smile

and it does weigh an absolute ton.

Rooners · 11/08/2013 21:14

I suppose you've seen the Njoy bubble? (umbrella fold)

there's the quinny zapp xtra which parent faces too.

blueeyedmonster · 11/08/2013 21:15

Yeah that's why I'm struggling!! I want it very small but with everything else too Grin. I have an oyster ATM but I need something smaller folding for our holiday. Got a zapp xtra as I want rear facing but I'm not getting on with it

how old is your baby?
what about a decent sling and a cheapy stroller?

blueeyedmonster · 11/08/2013 21:32

She's 18 months. I have a Mei Tai but can't carry her for a long time as I have lung problems so it makes it difficult. Which is why I wanted rear facing. I want the world!!

Ello deary Grin

I see my lovelies have suggested the same things I did....go for that bee you saw,I reckon it'll do you until the oyster gem is released

blueeyedmonster · 11/08/2013 23:06

Hiya Grin
They have indeed. I think so too. Why can't the gem be out now grrrr. It's perfect and I know I'll love it as I've already got an oyster. I need one!
