iCandy logo rubbing off chassis

Does anyone else have this problem?

I allowed myself to buy an iCandy because I knew the resale value would be good, but noticed that on eBay other people's chassis is immaculate. I've only used mine a month and already two letters have worn half off, making it look shabby.

Does anyone do anything special to protect the logo from deterioration for resale? I know it's only a little thing, and I personally don't care about logo's, but I know other people do and it might put someone off buying it off me later on.

Prevention being better than cure and all that!

I think the only thing you can do is to speak to your retailer. iCandy seem to have changed their logos recently. I know they will replace the transfers but the replacements are slightly raised up.

This is why the ones on eBay always look immaculate www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/icandy-stickers

So is there a way to rub the while lot off so new transfers sit correctly and are not misaligned over half -worn semi-visible lettering?

Errrm I think there is, but you would be best finding one of the iCandy Facebook groups and asking. I have had three Peaches and all have had the logos in tact after lots of use.

I wonder how you managed that! It only took a matter of weeks for mine to rub off a bit! Thanks for the info.

Yes there is a way to get the old ones off. I used to do up pushchairs as a living, as long as you have a silver chassis not a black one, then nail varnish remover works well, or at a push, alcohol hand gel. The quinny logo is even worse, you only have to breathe on that for it to scratch/ rub off

iCandy should fix it for you. Their new 2014 logos are being lasered on, so it shouldn't be a problem in future.
