Travel pushchair?

Hi all

I can't decide what to do about taking a pushchair on holiday. My lo is 6 months and we are going to Portugal for a week. Staying in a resort hotel on the beach, so doubt we will leave the resort. We have a bugaboo bee but reluctant to take it with us as it is fairly bulky and I don't want it to get damaged by baggage handlers (don't have the carry cover). I was thinking about not bothering with a pushchair at all, and just taking the baby Bjorn, but now wonder if a pushchair would be useful for naps by the pool or on the beach so that we are not so tied to the hotel room. In which case I am wondering about whether to buy a cheap umbrella pushchair to take with us... What do people think, would you recommend buying a cheapo stroller for travelling, if so which one (think it would need to recline for naps)? Or shall I not bother? Or do I just take the bugaboo??? Agh help!!

Thanks all

I honestly wouldnt take the Bee, especially not without a travel bag. Pushchairs get so thrown around by baggage handlers. I would buy a cheaper umbrella or flat folding pushchair.

I'd buy something like this: item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=221247525275&cmd=VIDESC
Hope the link works! Cheap but lies flat and has a large hood to shade a sleeping baby. Comes in few different colours. No way I'd take my bee!

I got a basic stroller from kiddicare as my normal buggy is not a one piece fold. It was great for holidays and i often use it at home too. It wasa kiddicare own brand and it reclines totally flat so perfect for holiday naps. Don't try to manage with no pushchair if you usually use one as it is very useful to have somewhere for baby to sleep. Do take a baby carrier too as they come in very handy st the airport.

I've just got my zeta vooom today and love it. Am taking it on holiday next week, but think it will live in the car after that. Bought it from amazon. Folds small but is actually quite roomy
