Bugaboo buggy board

If we go with the 3 wheeled triangle shaped buggy board on the chameleon can you walk directly behind the pushchair or do you have to walk to the side? Any other recommendations for better boards? DD will be 2.10 when next one arrives and whilst she's not the best walker, I can't see us needing a double as I'm sure I'll only get a few months worth of use. Also can you use the board with a car seat attached to the buggy?
Thanks

You can walk behind the bugaboo board, I think it's good (I use it on a donkey). Yes, you could use it with the car seat attached. The only issue is that the board does rely on them 'wanting' to use it (or they can just step off it)...also you have to consider what you will do in bad weather as I think it's a bit mean to have them standing on the board in the rain...but regardless, it's a good board!

The board gets very slippy in the rain too. Have a look at the seat for the board. However I had a Cam and I remember a board and seat was my Plan A, but it worked out cheaper to sell the Cam and buy a double!

Thanks for your responses. I see what you mean about them wanting to use it, I'll have to see if I can try DDs on a friends buggy board. I'm only going to have 2 days a week when I've both DCs on my own so I'm really trying to avoid a double if possible. I guess worst case we'll have to buy a double if it doesn't work out. Will look out for the seat for the board too.
Thanks again
