Uppababy: Vista or Cruz?

I'm thinking about getting an Uppababy and like the look of the Cruz and the Vista.

I saw someone pushing a Vista in the supermarket the other day and it looked lovely (I've taken to following people with nice pushchairs ) But I've seen people say its heavy and hard to fold - and it's waaay expensive.

The Cruz is lighter and cheaper, even if you buy the carrycot as well. But is it flimsy?

Would welcome any thoughts about pros and cons of both.

No advice as such but I've bought the vista on the advice of my friend and she utterly loves hers! No problems folding and lifting it even after a c section. I just preferred the vistas styling etc but I'm sure both are good.

No question for me - the Vista.
I have had both a Vista and a Cruz and whilst in theory I prefer the look of the Cruz and the fab huge shopping basket, the complete lack of tangible suspension (whatever they say it has) made my hands hurt. I tried and tried and tried to like it, but every time it was horrible to push. The Vista meanwhile has much better suspension. It is strangely smaller folded than the Cruz. The spec on it is superb - the attention to detail is fab (although the Cruz is also good spec). The Vista carrycot used to be gorgeous but I believe its been changed now. Just dont leave the Vista with grandparents without telling them how it works! Some parts arent obvious. But all round after having both, theres really no reason to have a Cruz over a Vista TBH.

Aha, I was hoping a pushchair guru would reply! Thanks loads for this. If it's rubbish to push, then that's hopeless. The Vista I saw looked very new (the baby was tiny) and the carrycot was lovely so I reckon the current design must still be pretty good. Ta!

We got the new version that's just out and the carrycot is v nice! Glad I chose that brand now!

The Vista, the carrycot is suitable for overnight sleeping - we bought the stand and that way our daughter had somewhere familiar for naps in and out of the house and for her overnight sleeps.

I absolutely love the Vista - treks on Hampstead Heath, handy in small places, good turning circle, and parent facing seat are great.

I was considering both too but went for the Vista in the end and I'm so glad I did, it's far more versatile! It's been on trekked through the woods as well as the more mundane town use and bus travel

The only advantage the Cruz has is that the wheel base is narrower, which might help you on certain London buses I suppose, however I don't live in London and have never had a problem getting my Vista on the bus.

In London buses you can get in at the back on the smaller /older buses and fits from the front in the newer ones.
Haven't tried the new Routemaster style buses yet though

Ah, and the Vista's big back wheels are great to cope with stairs by yourself when other people aren't around to help.
