Best rough terrain buggy?

We walk a lot and the walks near us are fairly rough. Have a loola-up a home which doesn't collapse, a quinny zapp for town etc but it's useless for walks.

We need something fairly compact too as we don't have the biggest car boot.

Any recommendations?

I have just got a 2nd hand mountain buggy and it goes over everything, beach & through forests. isn't in great condition but great for what I need it for. also had a nipper double and phil and teds and they were the same.

:)

A Baby Jogger City Elite or Summit would pack well into a small car boot. Its dead simple to flat pack them down. The Nipper isnt bad either if you remove the wheels. Mountain Buggies are really long folded. Look also at the B.O.B. pushchairs. They are pretty compact folded too.

I bought a Baby Jogger City mini GT when the potholes and unmade roads in our village made my last pushchair fall to pieces. I love it, it handles rough terrain brilliantly and has the best folding mechanism I've ever come across.
