Currently have a p+t sport v2 for dd2 (3.5yrs and 14.6kg) and ds2 (14months and 21lbs).

I have a shoulder and neck problem and its just too heavy to push, also the tyres are always going down.I walka a lot and need a double that is a bit lighter as the p+t frame is very heavy.

I was thinking about a BJCM but they are quite expensive and I'd have to sell the p+t and my old maclaren triumph to pay for it.
Is there a better double that would be easier to push or do I just need to put up with the p+t?

Assuming your 3yo is going to be using the buggy a fair bit longer, i guess you wouldn't be asking if not, then a nipper 360 is supposed to be the very lightest to push. The narrower v2 one or a new v3. The bjcmd is good to push but the gt version is better, lighter etc.

If you want something more adaptable then I would go for another tandem, there are a few light to push ones now - the jane twone, babystyle oyster max, icandy peach blossom, apple2pear etc. I currently have a smyths toys mobi tandem, it's the lightest to lift of any i've had but not as light to push as the other things mentioned.

Depending on the situation going forwardif you're going to need a double for a while then i'd get a nipper or something similar, if not then I'd look into other lighter to push and use tandems.

Yes I will need a double for the foreseeable future, dd2 will go to school in sep 2014 so would be using it for every trip out till then daily and she will need it for the journey to/from school even then (she has health problems).

I'm a bit wary of another buggy with tyres like the p+t-we have had no end of punctures/deflating (not sure if that's because dd is quite heavy) and I don't want to have the same issues with a different buggy.
I liked the look of the bjcm double as it didn't have tyres like this but I'm not sure how it would distribute the weight and worry as dd2 so much heavier than ds that it would be difficult to push?
