P&T verve or Vibe 2?

Sorry, it's me again Blush. I'm still on my quest for the best buggy and going through buggies at a rapid rate!

I have just won a vibe2 on eBay, picking it up tomorrow. I already have the verve and really wish I could combine the two.

The verve creaks and just doesn't feel like it is up to the job. I had to bump up two lots of 10 shallow steps last week and it really felt like it could fall apart at any moment. However, I love the doubles seat recline. Also, I could fit the vibe 1 in my Zafira boot if I took off the front wheel and one rear wheel but I think I'd have to remove both front verve wheels to fit it in which are more of a pain to remove.

However, if the creaking is normal and not likely to cause any safety issues then maybe I should keep it purely for the recline of the doubles seat.

There's always a compromise, isn't there. Anyway, I'll see what the vibe2 is like and make a decision when they're side-by-side...any opinions in the meantime?

I know several people with major verve issues, they all eventually went back. But I don't know if that was the initial batch only. It doesn't sound good though, did you buy it new?

No, I got it on eBay. Maybe it's not designed to be pulled up steps Blush. I can't remember if I tried it with the vibe1 but I know the sport and dash managed perfectly well with the same steps.

I take it its not possible to physically combine the two.. reclining verve 2nd seat on vibe? I know you can with some models and not with others.

Not as they are, no but I have seen vibe adaptors on eBay so am wondering if verve adaptors are available. I've had a quick google but haven't found any yet.

Hiccup - I had one of the Verve's which had irreparable chassis issues. It creaked alarmingly and got worse as you pushed. They were all the same: creaking, side to side movement etc. We all got refunds because there was no known cure. Verve's stopped being produced for a while whilst the issue was sorted out.

Verve adaptors? For the car seat? Yes they were available...
