Does anyone have any experiences of this pushchair?

I'm a childminder and looking for a new pushchair, I thought this might be ideal as most days just one child will need to use it but occasionally (say once a week) I will need a double.

Any thoughts? Likes/dislikes?

Lets just say I havent heard anything good if that helps....

Ok. Care to expand? What sort of things are a problem? Bad quality or just big and heavy? I don't need it to do a massive amount of miles so somethings might not be as important to me.

I have only seen them around, the rear/add on seat is very very short. For an older child this would not matter. What age of children do you need to accomodate? The dimples mobi tandem is really good for the price and a sensible reversible seat single for the other times.

They will be just turned 2 and 12 months when I need it.

Which way around are you supposed to sit them? Youngest or oldest at the bottom? Or does it not matter?

I know this buggy can also have the extra seat up on top. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks.

The lower seat on top works the same as a Phil&Teds ie the lower seat moves to the top when a newborn baby is flat on the main seat unit underneath. ie its only for newborn and toddler mode, not for two older children.

I can't expand much on what I know but I know you get what you pay for ie the quality isn't as good as say a P&Ts. I dont believe there is a hood for the lower child and I am not sure the lower seat reclines (but dont quote me on that) which may be an issue if the 12 month old needs to nap. I dont know if there would be space for the 2 year old underneath with the top seat reclined (its an issue with most P&Ts as well). They usually recommend the oldest goes on top though.

Ok cool. I only need it for one school run a week as a double and two other days as a single hence why not really keen to pay Phil n teds prices. Hmm not sure what to do.

Thank you. I'll keep my eye out for second hand. I hate being a pain to sellers though and asking for a receipt so I can put it though my books.

Ok my research has lead me to the other extreme, what about the Baby Jogger city select?

Might start a new thread...
