Maclaren vs other umbrella strollers

Just wanted to know if Maclarens are really that much better- what is it about them that makes them better than any of the other cheaper brands of umbrella strollers?

Honestly? I've no idea! I have used many many (!) buggies before (am a nanny!) and I really don't get it...I find the volo and the Quest cheap and crappy and the techno xlr massive for what it is! (Althought the Techno (not xlr) is pretty good!)

There are definitly better strollers out there (Chicco liteway is ace for example)

I don't know, I've heard they are easier to push. our o baby is fine though and cost 25£ off gumtree and was to all intents brand new.

Bjcm floods flat light and more substantial than an umbrella style...

I dont understand it either. Why have an umbrella fold when you can have a Baby Jogger??!
