I havent even considered the oyster max as we thought it was too expensive and I don't love stackable pushchairs, but we have just been to babies r us and we love it! Most surprisingly cheapo DH thinks it is what we need as well.

A few questions here and has anyone got anything else good or bad to say about it

We currently have and love the oyster and carrycot and a stroller. we were resigned to having a 3rd pushchair as a double but this could clearly offset the need to keep the oyster single.

In the shop we tried all the options, I know you are not supposed to, but why couldnt we put the proper seat on the bottom? Is it just a tipping risk when reclined and therefore could it be overcome by supervision?

We would also like to use our current oyster carrycot. Sadly it only fits on the top, and leaves not so much room on the bottom for the seat - does 7cm make a real different in height? The older carrycot is much bigger than the new one - we could get the new one but then it wont last as long, so would slightly defeat the objective.

wdyt?

What you do with your pushchair, under your responsibility is for you to decide :)

I am not sure I understand your second question - you want to use the Oyster carrycot on the top? Where does the 7cms in height come in?
Is there room for your eldest child underneath with it on? Are they happy?

yes if we use the cqrrycot on the top it leaves not much space for dd underneath as the carrycot is longer. I've just won some height extenders on eBay so once they arrive wevwred taking them to babies us with our carrycot. thy seem nice there...

(not that I'm buying a new one!) Grin
