I am trying to downsize my collection of buggies. I'm a CM and I just don't need to have the perfect solution for every occasion.

My Bugaboo Bee has just sold on eBay for the second time (I cancelled the first auction because I decided I didn't want to let go of it afterall Blush). It's fetched a decent price and I can meet the buyer this evening so is about as easy an eBay sale as they come.

Why am I now having second thoughts?! It's ridiculous. I felt this way when I sold my Gecko...maybe it's a bugaboo thing.

No point to this thread except I know the only place I'll get an understanding response is here Grin

Well, if this is the second time you've decided to go through the motions of selling it you must have a compelling feeling which says you need to. Why don't you want to let it go?

Ihateparties · 29/05/2013 15:35

Right.. okay... what else have you got in your collection??

HiccupHaddockHorrendous · 29/05/2013 16:14

Lottie - I don't really need it and I know the longer I take to sell it the faster it's going to lose value or get damaged.

Ihate - I have a very knackered maclaren quest (which I was given by a friend), an ABC single/triple and a P&T verve. Also have a P&T vibe which is currently on eBay.

Oh and a P&T sport which has been listed twice on eBay and hasn't sold so I'm thinking about splitting it up and selling the parts separately.

So you could use the verve for when you need a single?

I find I hate a collection more than I hate not having the ideal thing for each job. I would sell it but can also see why you're loathe to.

HiccupHaddockHorrendous · 29/05/2013 17:25

If it fit in my zafira boot (when the rear seats are up) then I'd definitely keep it over the maclaren but it doesn't so I still need a tiny folding stroller. It hasn't been used much lately because I more often than not have more than one child needing a seat.

I suppose if I miss it too much then I can always buy another one Grin!!! like happened with the gecko

Yes, the verve can be used as a very comfy single but isn't quite as lovely as the Bee Grin!!!

That's encouraging, miaow, thanks! Unfortunately, the fabric from my (reclining) doubles seat is damaged which is probably why it isn't selling.

Tell me about it. I boxed up four pushchairs this weekend to sell, and even as I was boxing them I was trying to talk myself into keeping them because I really liked them....but they just dont get used!!

HiccupHaddockHorrendous · 29/05/2013 22:20

It is quite quite a relief when a bit of space is cleared though Smile!!

I'm also toying with the idea of getting rid of the ABC but it took so long to get all the bits I wanted and would be difficult (and expensive) to replace.
