Baby jogger city select weight issue

Hi, I've read very good reviews on the BJCS but a lot ending up saying they had to sell as it got too heavy to push.

Is there anyone who didn't sell or have this problem?

Is it a matter of what your use to pushing or just too heavy for anyone?

Would love feedback please

I still use mine at times and ds1 is three and ds2 is 20 months. I just have the heaviest nearer to me and the lightest in the lower seat at the front wheels. Works for me.

I have 15 month old twins and it's starting to feel heavy, especially uphill. It does veer to one side when on a slant.
Ditto what has been said about kerbs.

I have loved it so far (minus the dismantling to fold), but now I'm thinking about the nipper as we have lots of hills where we live.

Thanks for the feedback!

It's so hard to decide, if only I could trial some and I don't anyone personally who has a double

Its all about getting the weight balance right. You need the heaviest child in the centre of the chair really and a seat and carrycot combo is like trying to steer a bus - very impractical.

I loved my BJCS - we did the same routes day in and day out until one day the BJCS started making my arms hurt to push. Another couple of trips and I couldn't push it any more. I had had no problems up to that point. I got a BJCS again this weekend to play with, and had a pang of, "I loved this pushchair" but it is so heavy compared with other tandems I have had since. I still love it, but its heavy!
