Bugaboo bee vs stokke scoot, do I or don't I?

So I have a bee plus as my throw in the car pushchair for nipping in and out of school etc, anywhere I can't be arsed to put the big pram together.
I originally bought it as a holiday pushchair for dd1 so I've only really ever used it forward facing, and I found it to be a fantastic small lightweight pushchair easy up and down with an adequate basket.
Rear facing for dd2 however and I'm not feeling the love. I have hurt my toe 3 times this week trying to open it from the rear facing fold, it's really pissing me off. Add to this that folding rear facing is a huge pain in the ass because of the faff with pulling the seat over the vertical, and the seat falling off when folded rear facing. To be honest its such a faff that I end up getting the big pushchair out more often than not because even though it's a 2 piece fold and more complicated, it's actually a lot easier to do and I don't trap fingers/stub toes or break my nails doing it! I would just use the big pram but it's a nightmare trying to get into school to get kids from after school clubs etc, I need the small nippy ness of the bee.
Anyone else seriously fallen out of love with the bee?
I like the stokke scoot but it's expensive, and I'm not sure it will be any less faffy. It has to rear face, be a single handle and small/nippy to push.

LOL yes, I feel like you about the Bee a lot. But for some reason it stays here but I dont love it for the reasons you mention and more! But once up, it has some benefits. I also have a Scoot. The Scoot is better for opening and closing, but its not perfect either. The back piece can suddenly drop to the floor which is annoying. The seat is an odd shape - bulbous at the top, and if you have a child who naps, then its really not good. The recline is only lie flat, and its like a cavern in there. Hard to get a child in and out, and worst, there is no calf or leg support for a sleeping child. I prefer the sturdyness of the Scoot though. I think out of the two I prefer it but its not perfect.

I had a scoot for a while. I sold it, It's crap for napping, hard to tip and handles badly we thought. The fold is good, the height of the seat is nice, it feels sturdy. I've never owned a bee but I would say stick with the bee. Scoot beats bee in some ways but is plenty annoying in others!

Hmm. It might just do better than the bee for what I'm wanting though, I'll be using it every day for running into school to get kids, should be a 2 minute job but generally ends up being 15 mins whilst I round up kids, swimming kits, pe kits, jumpers, coats, homework, book bags, glasses etc. I can't do all this with a baby on one arm. I need to put the chassis up, stick car seat on, get kids, car seat back in car and fold chassis. When she's older I can just stick her in seat. I would just use evo but it's big for round school. No kerbs involved and not more than 15 minutes a day. I've had a play today and I like it

Handle adjust is good too, bee is faffy because it's hard to hit the notches first time

Ok, if it's not your main pushchair and not for napping it's probably quite good. The fold/ unfold is excellent, although works more smoothly in ff than in rear facing. It's very compact in the boot although heavier than it looks so not exactly a breeze to lift in and out. It's fine on good pavements and shops, nice and narrow, loved the high seat, loved the nice clip on the harness, it was nice looking and generally felt sturdy and well made, quality fabrics etc.

Switching from front to rear facing was really really easy on the scoot too.
