Are they worth the extra money?

Im looking at the crusi and the scoot, not so keen on the xplory because of the way the handlebar goes between the childs legs.

Any have any experience of them, good or bad?

We have a scoot. We don't think it handles that well compared with other pushchairs its weight and price, but it has the easiest fold ever (apart from a babyjogger) and is v well made. Lovely harness, lovely fabrics. It doesn't have a semi recline or a calf rest, which may or may not bother you depending on the size & preferences of your dc. It makes a good 2nd pushchair for the car but we don't use ours much any more.

I love my Xplory. It has been the only thing we bought that we have used every single day since DD was born. It handles really well on most surfaces. She has grown out of the carrycot now and I really like the pushchair. It is so convenient as a high chair when out of the house.

I feel like it has so many options as she grows. Right now, she is high up and parent facing but knowing she can be low down and forward facing in the future means we should get years of use. The 3 different angles are great. The Winter Kit has kept her cosy even when the temp dropped to minus 5 during the day.

I am now eyeing up a Summer Kit

Honestly - no they arent worth the extra. I have had all 3 - an Xplory (the worst), a Crusi (fell apart but is hugely tall with no adjustability for height but probably the best of the lot for a from birth pushchair, and the Scoot (the best for an older toddler and has the best fold but there is just one recline position - lie flat and its like a cave in there and is extremely hard to manoeuvere a child in and out. Plus there is no calf or leg support for say an under 3 year old when sleeping which looks awful for them. The upright position is very upright and I wouldnt want a 6 month old sat up that straight. They simply aren't fully thought through. There are some nice touches before the Stokke fan club burn me at the stake, but I am objective (and I do still own a Scoot but I have a nearly 3 year old). There IS far better out there especially given the prices are stupidly high as well. Take your money and look at other brands - I would rather have something like the Uppababy Vista, iCandy Peach or Cherry, Britax Affinity, Mutsy Evo or Baby Jogger Versa just to start you off.

Thankyou all for getting back to me. I like the fact the stokke is so high up, but then again dd is 12 months now so its not as important as if I was buying to use from her being tiny.

I have been looking at the babyjogger Tiggywunkle. I want to upgrade my pushchair (currently using an older loola)
I want something parent facing still but something that is going to last me now until dd doesnt need one. Famous last words..

Think I will visit the shops over weekend try her in a few and go from there.

Have you looked at the new Loola. It seems much better.

Go and have a play - its the best thing to do - and then go to another shop and play some more :)
