Quick question about baby jogger versa colours

Hi

I have a quick question that hopefully some of you that have seen/have the versa can help me with please.

We went to our local john Lewis today and they finally have a versa back on display though only in black. It confirmed it was the buggy for us. However we were served by a very confusing assistant and I don't really trust what she said re colours (or anything else for that matter!)

I had thought from looking online previously that I wanted silver as the red looked very dark online. However she showed us the city select in red and said the seat was the same. However that seat had a red hood and black lining and was a nice bright red. Looking online when I got home the versa is completely red and looks darker and shinier material than the select. Does anyone know what the red versa looks like in real life?

I've got a red one - slightly darker than postbox red IRL and slightly shiny. Not sure how it compares to the red city select though as I've only ever seen the purple one.

I would definitely say they are different. The red Versa is lovely.

You can always buy spare fabrics if you preferred the red, and sell the silver ones on :) There's some bargains on silver ones around at present so shop around.
