If not an Uppababy then... ? What's your favourite ever buggy?!

Having spent hours, days and weeks obsessing about finding a buggy with a high up seat (like an Xplory, but better reviewed) I landed on Uppababy. Went to buy one from local shop today only to find the difference in seat height between either the Vista or the Cruz and many other pushchairs really isn't earth shattering...

I still liked them for other reasons of look, colour etc so not writing them off, but before just taking the plunge I just thought I should first ask you knowledgeable lot! What do you recommend?! My spec's not too demanding I don't think:

• Baby 6 months old
• Needs to have parent-facing option

For me number one was the Bugaboo Donkey...Joint second are the I'coo Vario, hopefully soon the updated Photon version and that seat unit can be raised up to use at a table, and my Brio Go, which i've had over 2 years which is a record...I keep saying i'll sell it, but i just can't.

We went for the green as I liked it instantly, plus we don't know if boy or girl! We just ordered at the weekend so hasn't arrived yet but we're in no hurry as i'm not due till the summer. I'll report back if it arrives ok as I have read some poor reviews of kiddisave, but I used credit card so i'm not worried!

Oooh, bluer, THAT is the answer! Never got round to doing quidco so now clearly the time! Just CANNOT choose between blue and green... (indecisive? moi?!)

I like the green one and the orange one on the black chassis. I'm also not due till the summer. Please do report back when it arrives and you've had a chance to play with it :)

Just to add, I measured the Vista and Xplory seat heights today and when I find my notebook I will report back :)

I also prefer the black chassis. We got the black on black and use lovely bright blankets with it. Looks sharp (& goes with whatever I'm wearing! )

Sorry for a quick hijack, but thanks again Tiggy for your advice re: traveling with prams on planes. We've decided to just bring a sling for the flights and we're borrowing a nice pram while we're there.

Hey lazy! I did toy with the idea of the black for that reason but the dh preferred the green and I did like the colour. Don't think the black frame was an option on the kiddisave site so it'll be silver! can't wait to play with it tonight...I'll be strolling up and down the hall

It has indeed arrived! Had it all out and had a good play about with it! tis exactly what we wanted so very pleased! is away up the lift until such times as required. Can recommend kiddisave now

Very nice...a sort of dark minty green. Pleased it'll suit whichever boy or girl!
