I've noticed this link on a Canadian website. Does anyone know if it is the same for the Uk?

Just looked on the Bugaboo website and you can enter your serial number to check.

You just need to order a new handle on the bugaboo website. It was really easy and it arrived within a week

I'm not sure if I should do this. I have a Cameleon, but I bought all the parts second hand - or new, unused, but still not from the company itself.

So my chassis is within the serial numbers on that link, but my bumper bar is an old one and so I feel a bit guilty if I order a new one from them?

Does that make any sense? OTOH if it's unsafe to use with my chassis then I suppose they ought to replace it.

Just wondering entered my number and it asked for my address does that mean mine is faulty? Annoying if so it's on Ebay at the moment.

I know with the bumbo safety strap thing it didn't matter if you had reciepts or not, it was a safety issue and the strap had to be fitted, so would imagine it's the same here as it's a saftey issue again.

Thanks Foof - yes it makes sense. I guess after market sales are good for them too in a way - people buying second hand etc? I am not good at economics

Notso I think that means your chassis falls into the affected group. I got an email as well which didn't say 'we're sending you a new bar' but I assume that it means they are.

Don't fret about ebay too much - you could make the buyer aware afterwards, but there are loads of bars on there - that's where I got mine. And you didn't know.

Crikey just realised there is a bumbo issue too! Gah.
