I am just starting out and have no idea what I need! My circumstances:

  • I'd like to buy just one pushchair so I guess from newborn +
  • we live in a tiny house with little room for pushchair storage
  • we'll probably buy a maxi cosy car seat so should be compatible with that
  • it'll mainly be used in urban areas
  • it'll be in and out of the car I'd say
  • we'll be taking it on flights fairly regularly

Any advice would be appreciated!

I would suggest a Baby Jogger City Mini or the City Mini GT if you like the air tyres. I would get the 4 wheel City Mini for stability using the car seat. The GT I don't think is an issue having 3 wheels as it feels more stable.
It would be easy to store, put in your car and flat with a good travel bag for flying. Flat hopefully means its less likely to get damaged. It takes a maxi cosi pebble or cabriofix.

bugaboo bee. the good thing with the bee is that the car seat fits on even with the main seat in place, meaning when you fly, you can easily wheel buggy through with car seat on and then either check seat in and use buggy up to gate, or take both to gate if baby has own seat booked. the maxi cosi pebble is suitable for on board an aircraft, but i think the other maxi cosi baby seats arent.
