Maclaren xlr carrycot- can I use it as a travel cot?

Hi, we're off in hols two months after EDD. Debating whether to take shiny new versa or maclaren xlr.
Would want to take a carry cot either way and wonder if the soft maclaren carrycot would work as a travel cot- haven't yet bought so can't check iyswim.

I would assume if its a soft cot, then no it wont be suitable for overnight sleeping. Ther Versa one I dont believe is suitable either.

Thank you for the advice, will go back to the drawing board/ baby hammock plan.
Thanks also for all the versa advice on here- have generality read but not posted but I have found very useful.
