Bugaboo bee and buggy board

We're thinking of getting a buggy board for our bee for 3 year old to ride on when we go to london. Looking at the pictures though how well does it work? With the pushchair seat facing backwards, there doesn't seem to be anything for ds to hold on to. With the seat facing forwards, is there enough room for ds to fit between the back of the seat and the handle?

Anyone got any experience or advice?

Thanks

Oh and do you recommend getting the bugaboo specific bard or will the lascal one do the trick? We have the old style bee if that makes a difference. Thanks

I didn't get on with the bugaboo one I found it too long it got in the way. Lascal maxi is fab, mini is a bit neater on the bee (I have maxi as I have cam and bee+ so fits both) only thing was if seat is forward facing and you recline it for maps then no room on the board. Otherwise brilliant.

We use the bugaboo board with seat parent facing. Raise the handle so toddlers head is In front of the handle so they can stand straight and they just hold on to the sides of the handle if that makes sense. I like the actual board as only one wheel so you can kind of elk to the side a fraction with one foot going under the board as you walk as no wheel in the way.

Thanks for your help and forevergreek that makes perfect sense as to where they hold on, thanks.

I dont like the Bugaboo board as its exceedingly slippy when wet :(

I have the older bee and my almost three DS uses the mothercare board works fine.

I luffed my bugaboo board, never noticed the slippery....

Thanks again everyone. We went for the lascal maxi board in the end and it's been brilliant.
