DD will be 10 months, if that makes any difference Smile I'm off to Rome so need a pushchair/stroller to go on the plane etc. Just a lightweight one for when I get tired of carrying her! I've thought about the quinny zapp, will this be any good?

I got the macLaren techno xt, not then lightest maclaren but has been really good on flights. I would get an umbrella fold one so you can easily get the buggy through the xray machine.

Is it quite bone rattley to push?

Another vote for the techno XT. I got a really elderly one off Gumtree so I wouldn't worry about it getting lost/destroyed on holiday but it wound up as my main pram for dd. She was about 8 months when we were travelling. Afaik it's about the most compact pram that reclines decently so they can sleep. Mine isn't too bone-shaking, and as I said, it's pretty old.

Mine is fine, really smooth ride. The recline feature is great. The only slight downside is the size of the basket underneath compared to my M&P Sola pram.

The hood also unzips so on a sunny day you can extend it so they are completely out of the sun, and the handles are adjustable.

I have the Maclaren XLR (next one up from the XT), as our standard buggy and would happily take it away with us on any holiday. It lies totally flat too and had a thick padded seat liner making it look v.comfy, and DD has her daytime naps at home in it. I have used it.for the odd.night time sleep too when she has freaked at being put down in a hotel travelcot.

Maclaren quest is good, Light and foldable and dd always slept well in it!
