Brominated Flame retardants

I'm looking into buying a Babyjogger, but now all my Swedish lentil weavers tell me all UK prams are treated with the EVIL flame retardants.

Is this true? Is there a list of non-treated products? I've found a US site, but nothing in the UK.

Help!

Yes, sadly all UK pushchairs have to be treated with flame retardants to go on sale here. The only way round it would be to import a pushchair.

Hello, I posted on the other thread a while ago. Whilst all pushchairs have to be treated with flame retardants in the UK, I've found the Orbit G2, which seems to incorporate the use of other flame retardants and doesn't contain BFRs. We're now looking into this as a possibility of buying this pram given that BFRs are particularly evil. Don't know if this is of any help to you?
