How do I fold up a Versa?!!!

Bought one - unpacked it - it's got a fault, and I don't really like it either.

Trouble is I can't get it back in the box

If anyone Tiggy could talk me through folding the seat unit, and the chassis, I'd be eternally grateful. There is a manual but it's in a little bag and I don't want to disturb it if I can help it - or try and read it while folding said buggy and holding newborn on one arm!

Well, having had/still got a BJCM, the quality seems much less - the fabric is horrid, it's that thick weave plasticky stuff, and I hate the white stitching on the black, it shows up all the thread ends and so on. The bjcm material is so much nicer and softer.

I don't like the recline being just one other position, instead of gradual. And the recline keeps jamming on mine. It has a chip on the plastic hinge too.

And when you're holding the handlebar and you move it from side to side it really does move - too flimsy for me.

I've taken off the seat unit, folded that up, but the bloody chassis stops when the handlebar is about 40 degrees away from the other parts. It won't shift - I daren't try and force it.

Have I missed something obvious do you think or is it a fault? I've emailed the shop to ask for help!

I've had pram since DS was born but I can't really decide what it is I want. Today I thought it was the versa!

Ohh...how old is ds? as a total buggy addict perhaps I can suggest some things.

Rooney He's 14 months. Has to be parent facing and also light as we are on the first floor and have no lift up. We currently have a scoot. Don't encourage me

If you've not managed to fold it yet the only thing I wanted to mention was check the wheels aren't getting stuck on the chassis. When I tried one out in the shop they seemed to very easily jam the folding. I didn't like the fold at all and crossed it off my list after it being my initial fave.

I hope you managed to fold it. Your chassis doesn't sound right. I saw from the other thread that you were getting a new one.

For the record: squeeze the two 'prongs' together behind the back of the seat. That folds the seat down. Then pull really really hard on the fold handle underneath and it should simply fold flat in your hand. Then add on the seat fold strap to the popper on the frame to keep the seat secure, so that it doesn't flap as you walk with it.
