Double buggy or buggy board??

DC2 is due in August and I have a DD who is 2 in April. Currently I have a Quinny Buzz 3 with all the bits and bobs. I've had no problems with it and quite like it. My problem is whether or not my DD will be able to manage on a buggy board once DC2 arrives or whether I should get a double? I'm not convinced she'll manage on a board all the time so have looked at the BJCMD, does anyone have any experience of one of these? I'm wondering how the car seat and carry cot etc attaches and if there is a specific age/model I should look for?

BJCMD here with a 2 year age gap. We used it quite a lot for the first 6-8 months (til the end of winter, when I was prepared to walk at preschooler speed the whole time!)
Didn't do carry cot or car seat attachments to it tho - not sure ours would have taken them? 2010 model.
I loved it as a pushchair. Didn't see many (any) around in the early days, but they became really popular over the 8 months we used it.

We have a 2.9 year age gap. Thought I could manage with buggy board. Dd fell asleep standing up. I do walk a lot though. At 3.6 dd is walking a lot more so just use when i know there will be lots of walking. Could you get one second hand?
Love the bgcmd, very light, fits through wheelchair spaces (everywhere) even on the bus.

The 2011 or newer BJCMD will take a carrycot but none in the UK take car seats.
I honestly think you would be better off with a double for a while and the BJCMD is a good one to have. If you can stretch to it, the BJCMGTD is even better!

Yeah i was pretty certain of needing a double at least for a while and was keen for it to be able to take a carrycot too. Shame the uk models can't take car seats?? I've seen adaptors advertised on amazon uk too!? No matter.
tiggywunkle what makes the GT model better??
redandwhite definitely hoping to go second hand. For all the time we'll use it i don't think shelling out for a brand new one is worth it.

err, where are you?
could be up for selling mine, but it needs a fix to attach a carrycot - people seemed to attach the phil and teds somehow!
Summer baby here, and didn't use one!

The GT model has small air tyres which will make it easier to push. It also has an adjustable handlebar which makes a difference when pushing two children - its less of an issue with one. There's also other features like bigger seats and a handbrake, but the first two are the two I would pay the extra for.

nextphase I'm in Scotland, where abouts are you?
