anyone have this? Looking for reviews. I would be purchasing it for a second buggy for nursery and holidays I.e. Not daily use.

The basket looks huge on it on Argos website which is what's tempting me to swap it for my simple umbrella fold.

I think someone at school has one, will have a nose tomorrow and report back. The basket really does look massive!

Ihateparties · 15/01/2013 14:20

The basket is indeed massive, the feedback I got though was for £50 this mum thought you can't really go wrong. Her other pushchair needed a raincover, she figured once she had spent £20 on that she may as well have the whole buggy with a huuuuge basket. It doesn't have much (or maybe any) suspension, the wheels are small but otherwise so far she reckons it's okay. It certainly looks okay, it lies nearly flat, is reasonable to push etc.

I would buy one just for the basket for occasional use.

This is the one that everyones snapping up at present because its £50 on Argos but only £25 if you use the Emmas diary voucher which takes money off a 3 wheeler bought from Argos! The old version has one handle, the new apparently has two handles more like a Petite Zia.

Tiggywunkle · 15/01/2013 16:09

Someone at our school has it BTW and the basket does look huge, its got a snack tray type thing on the front and the calf rest lifts up to flat which is always a bonus. Teeny back wheels though! But it looks neat! I am half tempted except that when I mentioned it to DH he said, so if you spent £25 on that, then the rest can all go...Hmm not quite! I will keep my £25 and keep my top quality pushchairs, thank you DH!!!

Hi,

Thanks Ihateparties for the review from your friend....appreciate your efficiency enormously! That was quick!

Thanks Tiggy for the discount voucher - printed it out!

Went to collect it from Argos this afternoon - after multiple members of staff re-reading the voucher multiple times they finally gave me the £25 off. So I have a new buggy for our holiday that has a nice big basket.

Instant review only from unpacking the box...
VERY good value for money - £24.99 including raincover
Easy to open and close but need 2 hands
Padded straps
Large-ish seat -certainly seems wide to me though DS asleep so no real testing yet!
Huge basket and easy access
Wheels are plasticky (is that a word?!) - not really designed for rough terrain but for holidays that don't involve mountains etc, and the nursery run, it should be fine
Freestanding when folded
Fabric is ok - not the strongest in the world I imagine
If you inspect it you can understand why it's this price - not perfectly finished off in places etc etc

Thanks for all your help.

Tiggywunkle · 15/01/2013 23:14

Me too parties but I want to keep my other stuff!
But shall I just check if there's one in stock locally???!

Ihateparties · 15/01/2013 23:18

Ah Tiggy.... spend a little... live a lot.. Or something Grin

Tiggywunkle · 15/01/2013 23:26

I can't find the voucher :((((

dldl · 16/01/2013 08:14

Tiggy...when you go to emmasdiary.co.uk and log in, somewhere on the page it'll have a box saying "£150 of Argos vouchers". Click it and it comes up with a PDF with all the vouchers.

i tried to use that argos voucher on 3 wheeler which was on sale for 49.99 and they didnt accept it saying it needs to be for 75 or more. i did argue that voucher says any 3 wheeler or travel system for 75 or more. so for meif it says any means any brand any price and that 75 pounds is for the travel system. that is how i understand it. manager in argos was very unpleasant. i got tired of arguing just bought it without the voucher!!!!i would really want to get that 25 pound back but dont know if its possible. any advice??

I recently purchased this stroller, and I want to put out there a few things for others to be aware of. I'm comparing this to my previous pushchairs.. Quinny zapp xtra and micralite toro.

My baby is almost 8 months old.

CONS:

The fabric on this is super thin, on the hood and seat (to thin it's kind of slack) my baby finds it hard to get comfortable, he usually squirms until he is in a slump leaning towards a corner. I feel as if the crotch pad wasn't there he would slide right off the seat.

The foot rest isn't really adjustable :-/

For some reason I find this take so much more energy to push, compared to my others

The seat base is made from three pieces, not very solid, very slackly, Hense the baby slumping ;-)

It's not as compact as I thought, certainly a chunk bigger than my zapp xtra, around a similar size to my micralite toro

The seat is adjustable via drawstring, only problem is that the string kind of leans to which ever side my baby is leaning making the seat back angled

PROS:

Very easy to fold / unfold

Huge basket

Looks nice

Seat is very spacious, this would easily fit a large toddler

Not a pro or con but I thought I would put this out there as I couldn't find the information when researching this.. The wheels are made of foam
