Phil & Teds...wondering if vibe doubles fabric will fit the sport frame

Anyone had both the sport and the vibe?

I've just bought a secondhand sport but the fabric on the doubles seat is very worn.

New fabrics are £45 but I've found a vibe doubles seat fabric for a lot less but not sure if it'll work. I'm hoping that it'll just feed onto the frame with no need for poppers etc.

Does anyone know?

I don't think it will..Sorry but I had the vibe and prior to purchasing it I compared the two in Mothercare..Putting my children in and out of both and the sport double seat is a lot wider. The vibe is more compact and offers more support but is also a good bit smaller. It might be a false economy to buy a vibe fabric only to have to buy the sport fabric also when it doesn't fit. THere was a good few inches I'd say on each side.
Sorry..hth.

Ok, thanks.

The vibe fabric I saw was only £15 (compared to £45 for the sport) so I'd hoped it was worth a try Grin.

I'll keep looking.

The two pushchairs are built completely differently.

Yes, I see that (sounds sarky but really not meant to!) but wasn't sure how the fabric attached to the frame on the doubles seats. Having looked closer at the sport double seat, I see that it has poppers. I thought the frame just fed through the fabric.

I've seen a classic doubles seat now so will try for that and sacrifice the recline option.

Thanks for replying!
