Pushchairs
Buggy clips you like please
sedgieloo · 03/10/2012 12:37
Hi just started using my plus one as a single, my little plus one is due soon :)
What buggy clips work that I can keep on the handle bar and still easily close the pushchair and hoist it in and out of the car.
I ask because the cheap mothercare plastic ones have failed me as weak and bendy and keep pinging off if we forget to remove them getting lost. The large metal ones I have not tried but appear to look as if they may get in the way or scratch up the painted metal chassis of my buggy.
Thanks!

I haven't got any but I'm sure someone will be along shortly who has. I hear good things about the ones that are a little loop of webbing/velcro with the small metal hook thing hanging below. Something like this but not necessarily those actual ones... they may be good, I have no idea...

Oh also I have a jl childress handlebar console thing that has buggy clips on the base, that's pretty good as a combination thing unless you dislike something like that on your handlebar this but there are quite a few other similar ones with different pockets etc.

I love both those suggestions. Meant to say mountain buggy plus one which seems great so far but quite a beast of a thing so don't want to add much bulk. The parent console thing I like as I miss the one on my elite. So useful and not bulky.

I use Mummy clips (an open C shape that are fab for bags and velcro on) most of the time - off EBay but I recently bought some fab Velcro on carabina style ones but the brand name escapes me! I will try and find them in a bit.

The console is very slim, I dislike adding bulk too. My only comment would be it's a little pricy for what it is but that seems to be the case with most of these things!

If you buy about 30cm of self adhesive velcro and stick it back to back with itself you have a very handy strip to wrap around the pushchair frame and hold bags.
