Does anyone know if a Silver Cross Surf pram[chassis] will fit in the boot of a mini cooper?

or perhaps even recommend a cheaper model ? Didn't want to buy a pram but partner is now insisting we get one. I have a newborn so need to consider her back for the early months that's why I like the silver cross fleece liner option but it's expensive!

The chassis would - especially with one or both wheels popped off because the main chassis is tiny folded. But the seat unit is HUGE, with a fixed footrest, and doesn't squash flat. Its one of the most annoying things about the Surf.
This photo might help The Surf is the last one on the right. There is no way it will squash down. here too.
