Pushchairs
How on earth did that happen? <innocent>

Having decided that the iCandy Strawberry would be all the pram/puschair I'd ever need, why oh why has a Baby Jogger City Mini GT arrived in my living room this morning?
I don't need it. I can barely justify it...but it's just so luffly that it has to stay I love it's beautiful air tyres, it's adjustable handlebar, it's one-handed fold. Not to mention the handbrake...
It would be wrong to wake DD (10 weeks old) just to see how she looks in it, wouldn't it?

Yep. Just returned from our first trip out with it and the only fault I can find with it is that I cant hang my bag on the handlebar with the seat fully reclined which DD needs it to be as she's so young. But that won't be a problem as she gets bigger and can sit upright.
It's a dream to push, light as a feather and must be comfy as DD slept for most of trip.
I think the iCandy might be on eBay sooner than I was planning :)

Just bear in mind that as your DD gets older and is awake more that parent facing is lovely. My two year old won't face forwards now after having spent much of his life forward facing :( He cries if he can't see me!

I think that's the only thing the iCandy has in it's favour over the BJCM, Tiggy, and the only reason that it'll probably stay. The fact that it folds in the parent facing position was the reason I wantd the Strawberry in the first placeThe BJCM will be mainly for travel and will probably live in my Mum's car as it'll be easier for her to use (she'll be caring for DD when I go back to work). I'm using it now because DD hates her carry cot (and has pretty much outgrown it) but is too small for the Strawberry pushchair seat yet. I'm sure I'll fall back in love with the iCandy when I can use the pushchair.
I can definitely see why people rave about the BJCM, though. 'Tis fab :)
