Should I buy parts for a used Bugaboo or a new (cheaper) pram?

My friend can give me a Bugaboo Frog pram (used for 1 child for 3 years), but I would have to buy different bits and pieces (as the fabric is used and the carrycot smells of mould), which would cost me about £200. The frame is in a good condition though.
Or I could buy a new (cheaper) pram from Mothercare or so, for £300-400. And I would have a warranty/possibility to exchange if needed.

I have a maclaren stroller from my older child so I really need a pram for the first 6-8 months.
What would you do?

I would buy a Baby Jogger City Mini from new and get a carrycot (or even not) to go on top. There is no need for a pram if you dont want one! Just a lie flat seat.
