Any ideas, rumours, hints at all about when it will be released? Not yet pregnant, only just started trying, but really want it when I have DC2. Can I safely assume it will be here within the next 9 months (I would prefer the Parma Violet, but would be happy with Black Magic) or do I still need to look at other prams?

I've just placed an order for PB twin 2 with John Lewis. They told me that the back order definitely won't persist into 2013 and I will have it in time (I'm due to be induced mid-Feb as pg with twins). That said they don't have a delivery date yet.
John Lewis is only getting a release of Black Magic - apparently Silver Mint is going to other retailers.
John Lewis said they had absolutely no information on the other colours, but they didn't think it would be anytime soon. Shame as I really wanted Berry Bon Bon.

It has already been released but the waiting times are horrendous. My supplier has told me orders are now taking 26 weeks.... Hopefully mine will arrive in time as the waiting times were not so bad when I ordered.
Maybe order now

Get the iCandy website open and phone round all your nearest iCandy retailers. Some have stock sat in their showrooms, some have huge waiting lists. Ask questions and either find one in stock or a retailer with no waiting lists! Black Magic and Silver Mint are out there, the Berry Bon Bon and Parma Violet are due shortly I would think....but again make friends with your local retailers because they have the inside knowledge!

I've been in touch with 2 local stockists - one hasn't bothered to reply, the other said no release date as of yet

Rockchick John Lewis said to me that it definitely hadn't been released and they had exclusivity on the first release of Black Magic. They didn't even have a demo model - just the Peach 2.

That's what I was told, they could show me a peach 2 but not the blossom 2.

The Black Magic arrived in JL stores back in around April time - I have friends using it. Smaller retailers now have both Black Magic and Silver Mint in theory...it's finding them in stock (unlikely) that's the needle in a haystack issue or finding short order times. Keep phoning and find a retailer who knows what they are talking about :) Go and have a look on the iCandy Facebook wall for possible stockists because retailers say on there if they have free stock.

Oxford Pram Centre have Peach Blossom 2 in Black Magic in stock :)
I have shopped with them and they were great :)

Milk I may give them a call as we are travelling this weekend and sort of in the area
My supplier has said they will have my main carrycot in in Friday and an update (some sort of order schedule?!) for the next month...my pb2 should be on it!
If its not I'll cry call the Oxford pram centre
