Should I buy a Bugaboo Gecko??

I'm pregnant with number 3 - kind of unexpectedly (lol) so I got rid of all my baby stuff....

Always wanted a Bugaboo but never had the funds for new, or even 2nd hand really....

Anyway someone local is selling a Gecko for £100 ono and I wondered if it was worth buying?

Can the Cameleon covers be used on it?

Advice please!

x

I don't know the answer really except I don't believe the Cam covers can be used on it. I like the Gecko. Just check it over carefully. Theres always spare parts on eBay or the Facebook groups.

No the cam fabrics don't fit cos the seat is smaller by a few cm, nothing major. I really really liked mine, lovely to push. That said I never folded it, that's kind of awkward and it's hard not to scrape it on the ground. Only other gripe is the carrycot fabric sides are kind of thin but this never bothered me particularly. All round a really nice option if it's in full working condition for the £100.

thanks for your answers girls - I have decided to order a Bee+ it seems to fit my criteria better than the larger models and I have ordered it on easypay so can pay off bits over the next few months. Excited now!! x
