Cost of going to Peach blossom?
Jergens · 05/09/2012 14:55
Hi
I am due in 8 weeks with DC2 at which time DD1 will be two.
We currently have the ICandy peach and am thinking of converting to blossom. I don't particularly like the look of the blossom as it looks a bit cumbersome but I feel that given that I've already got the Peach, it probably is the most sensible option.
Does anyone know the price of the upgrade? Do you need a smaller carrycot or does the single one fit?
Thanks.

The rrp of the peach blossom converter is £190. In double mode the older child goes in the main seat and the carrycot has to go onto the lower position, this means you have to buy a lower carrycot as the main one that you have does not fit in this configuration. That is £160. Then if you want to use a carseat you will also need the lower carseat adaptors which are £30. So well over £300, more if you are buying more accessories such as the car seat adaptors and another footmuff.

And also meant to say that iCandy are having major supply issues at the moment so you may be cutting it fine for getting one in time. If you desperately want to get the the convertor and lower carrycot then I would suggest posting on the the facebook page what you need and your area as one of icandy's stockists may have what you need and be local to you.

You need a different carrycot. You will also need to do a major phone around to find stock. Plus if you want the PB2 convertor - the best - you need to check your chassis number as you may need an extension doing to your basket. The peach blossom2 IMHO is by far the best pushchair out there. Believe me for a double it's neat and light to manoeuvre! If you have more questions I will answer later but am rushing out right now.

Yes but remember that newborns are only meant to be in a car seat for a very short space of time - I think its 30 mins and bigger babies, up to 2 hours.
