BJCM(twin?) carrycot adapter help

I've bought a carrycot for my BJCM from making an offer for an unsold ebay item. However, it's been delivered with only one adapter. I know the owner had twins and was wondering if the twin buggy needs different adapters to the single?

The one I have fits fine - it has a metal rod which slots into the buggy and a red and white marked flat attachment for the carrycot. The vendor has sent me a photo of another attachment which they have, but instead of the metal rod bit, there is another flat looking bit with what looks like a greay clip on the end. Is this just for twin buggys? Does a twin buggy use one of each type?

What you are describing does sound like the twin version as the side nearest the middle on the twin has the flat adaptor. The other side has the metal rod. So she probably has two flat adaptors as a choice for which side the carrycot went ie one for left and one for the right. The seller should have got a metal rod for the other side too ie single mode needs two metal rods. Give Kooltrade a call tomorrow and ask how much the missing adaptor would be.

I love mumsnet! Thank you, that solves it then. I hope that they don't cost the earth...

I have to apologise for my spelling in the OP, and mis-namking of green as white. I am 36 weeks and my specs no longer work...
