Cheapest place for Baby city mini?

I have heard good things about the baby city mini pushchair. We are downsizing our pushchairs and getting rid of our double britax bdual and broken jane pushchairs.

I like the look and reviews of the baby city mini however I cannot find it for anything less that £210. Thats over my budget as I dont want to spend any more than £160... Anyone know of anywhere cheaper?

You mean Baby Jogger City Mini?

I got mine second hand last year from an MNer, but there were some good (new) deals going on eBay at the time. Boots sometimes have a deal in it, but they are pricey to start with, but with parenting club offers it might work out.

Yes sorry! the Baby Jogger City Mini... Thanks Ill try ebay.

There are some amazing deals on at Boots at the minute with points and money off. I am sure they are only around £170 with everything on. I bet there's money back through Quidco too. I know the double is working out at £255.99 with nearly £50 of points back. Its usually nearly £400.

Thanks but the cheapest on boots is £199.99 which is still just a little too much. I couldnt see the double at anything less than £319 - maybe Im missing something!

I bought the Sidewalk which is so similar that it's hard to tell the difference.
I love it and am so glad I bought it!
It was £179.99 on Kiddicare but is out of stock at the moment

HappySunflower · 27/08/2012 13:00

at Kiddicare.com so maybe worth keeping an eye on their stock as it will hopefully be available again soon.
In fact, they are so helpful, it's probably worth a call to them.

Thanks Ill have a look at it!

I paid £150 for mine from Halfords but think it was the previous years model.

Tiggywunkle · 27/08/2012 15:29

Kiddicare have no more Sidewalks - they will be stocking the City Mini in future.

After seeing the other thread on BJCM I am thing of getting the Britax agile. A bit cheaper and I love my current britax.. just need to see if buggy board will fit as theres no info on the lascal website for it....

Ihateparties had a Buggyboard on her B-Agile. We differ though because I don't think the B-Agile is very good for under 2s. My LO slumped really badly. The seat is too big with a non adjustable crotch strap and he just didn't sit right. At the same time he was fab in the BJCM. If you have an older chid though then they are fab - big seats with a comfy footrest. Just watch out because the handle is low. But go for it if its for an over 2 year old!

Sorry shouldn't drip feed. We are off on hokiday in 3 weeks time and having a panic over pushchairs. We were planning on taking our old Jane Energy pushchair which we love but its on its last legs and we are now worried it wont survive the journey and a week with buggy board attached as frame seems very wobbly... So pushchair needs to be suitable for ds who is 3.5 yo on the odd occasion on hols that he needs a rest (i.e. went we are out for dinner (fingers crossed!)) and dd who is 15 months old. However Im quite tall (5ft 10/11) and my dh is about the same height so now Im worried the handle is going to be to low! Ahhh! Im going to see if local mothercare have the new version of Agile and have a go however I want the 2011 version - i.e. the 4 wheeled one which kiddicare have.

Thanks thats great to know the buggyboard will probably fit!

If you go back to Boots they might have a good deal on points that makes up for the expense, whichever pushchair you choose. When I bought my BJCM they gave me points that equalled to a massive discount. (I forget exactly how much now, it was a while ago!)

Just thought Id come back and say that I bought the Britax b-agile in red from Kiddicare for £140 - used quidco and got 15%off plus should get 5% cashback.

It arrived this evening and so far so good!! Easy to put together - sturdy, big seat, lovely fabric. Plus the handle height is fine for DH and I how are around 5ft 10/11. DD (15 months) has heaps of room and its more upright than I expected. DS (3.5 years) also seems fine in it. Attached buggy board adaptors tonight but buggy board is in car and its raining so cant try it til tomorrow but fingers crossed it all fits. Thanks for all the advice
