Cheap 'About Town' Pushchair

I have the Nipper 360 as my walking / off roader which I use most days, however, its a bit big to cart around the suppermarket / out for a coffee. We do have the Quinney Zapp, but it is on loan, and not really suiting my 8M old DD now.

Any ideas for a cheapish, light pushchair that does recline if needed?

Are you thinking umbrella fold like a Maclaren type option (xt, quest etc) or something with a book type fold, single handlebar type idea? There are plenty of options for both.

I shall say Baby Jogger City Mini before someone else does but I'm not sure it counts as cheapish! Following that I shall say Britax B Agile because it's very similar, narrower wheelbase, better suspension and cheaper.

If you can identify what in particular you don't like about the zapp then it might be easier to come up with a longer list of options? Grin

It's flimsy, we only have the car seat option, which isn't good for a 8 month old . I like it because its small,( I'm petite), not heavy . Not worried about storage . Just want something I can pull out of a small boot , that sits up and reclines, isn't heavy, with a hood .150 or less.

My SIL has a maclarean, and I find the handle bars high.

I prefer the book type fold of my Nipper .

Okay so you're in city mini, b agile type territory. They're among the best of that type of fold. Someone on here had a b mobile which is quite similar I think but without the pull to fold thing.
I had a b agile and really liked it, the seating position for older babies can be a bit odd, it didn't bother my toddler or later on current baby for that matter but you can make it sit up a bit more by various methods.
A little while back Halfords had city minis for 150, there are often discounts different places so you might get one for that somewhere.
Similar things but I have no direct experience of (so not clue on quality etc) - obaby Zoma 4. Cosatto Tribo... Oh, slightly different vein but several people on here have graco citisports too that they seem to really like.
Will be back if I think of any more.... hope that helps a bit!
