Hi - Im after a parent facing pushchair but do not want to spend a lot of money as I have the McClaren XLR that my little one can go in at 8 or 9 months. Ive seen the Britax B Smart for around £179, has anyone had 1. How did you get on with it?
Can you recomend any other forward facing pushchairs?

Thanks for your help.

Hi, I have the Brtiax B Smart 4 wheeler, pretty much the same as the 3 wheeler apart from the number of wheels! I got it for DC2 because I had a Britax car seat already (from DC1) and knew the B Smart is compatible with the car seat. So far I am really pleased with it. For DC1 I had the Britax Visio.....a very ancient, clunky old thing. Wanted a new one for DC2 but didn't want to spend a fortune. So far DS seems comfortable in it. I am pleased with the sun canopy, I had to buy a snoozeshade for my previous pushchair, but it's possible to totally block the sun out with this one. Basket is large and easily accessible and my buggy board fits easily on to it, so I can transport both DCs at once. It is nice and easy to push and the handle is easy to adjust so that it is perfect for me (5ft3) and DH (6ft3). Overall, I think this is much much better value than some of the pricier pushchairs. Sound like a saleswoman don't I???

We bought the B-Smart 3 for my DD 2.5yrs ago & its still going strong!! In fact, if it weren't for the expected arrival of #2 in Nov, I would be sticking with the b smart (& buggy board).

It is slightly bulky when folded - it pretty much fills our Ford Focus boot, but I suspect all similar products are similar on this score.

I love the fact it is easy to collapse, push, put up, & switch the seat from parent to forward facing & back again. We have taken it off road a bit, through boggy bridal paths in the New Forest, for example, & its coped well. The large hood is great too.
