Maxi-cosi Elea

Hi All
We are currently trying to choose our first pushchair.

Our top choice at the moment is the Maxi-cosi Elea, but I would appreciate any views you have. There are not that many reviews out there!

We are both pretty tall so I am slightly concerned that if we get a pushchair which necessitates a carrycot before you can use the seat it might get grown out of a very early stage leaving us a bit stuck. The plus point of the Elea is that it is suitable from birth.

Generally I think we need a bit of everything out of whatever we decide on as intend to walk alot, but also need it to fit in car (Focus) and use on the train everynow and then. Budgetwise would ideally like to keep it below £500 and less if possible.

Thanks

I haven't owned one but had a 10 minute trip pushing my friends 8 month old around town and it seemed really long and not particularly sturdy to me.

Mumo, could definitely be interested, although we are in Essex so not the nearest! Would you mind if I asked why you are selling it?

Thanks

I'm only selling as I'm a foster parent who fosters babies (usually) but the last foster children I've had have been too old/big for a pushchair so I would rather it got used tha n sit here in my dining room
It's in the original box so could courier it if needed hunny x

We looked at the Elea. We liked it because of the package price and the suitability from birth. It folded smaller than we expected but when pushing something didn't feel right. The frame felt to long at the front and not very sturdy, particularly the handle where it folds.

I think it's an ok pram but would be even better if they solve some of the niggles and bring out an improved version of it.
