Parasols are rubbish! Can you recommend any other products?!

Help!

Parasols are good for when the pram is going in a straight line.

As soon as you turn the corner the sun changes direction and the parasol needs adjusting.

Are there any other recommended products out there?! Help!

Thanks!

What pushchair have you got? I've got a Bee Plus and am going to get the Breezy sunshade which has UV protection. You're right parasols are useless! But I don't think the Bugaboo one would fit anything but the Bee Plus. Maybe somebody can recommend a more universal one.

Try looking at the JoJo Maman Bebe website. They have several options. But an all over cover or extended canopy woud be better.

I used the Shade-a-Babe cover, seemed to solve the turning corners problem.

Shade a babe. Parasols are shite of the highest order. I never know why people bother with them.

Snooze shade.

I bought a second-hand Mountain Buggy sunshade (green netting stuff that covers the whole pram)

As well as fitting my Mountain Buggy (obviously) it also works brilliantly for the Quinny Buzz (both the carrycot and seat) as well as umbrella strollers etc.

Ds can see out through it do happy.

iCandy palm shade. Pretty universal in shape and covers whole seat

I've just ordered a palm shade, parasols are ridiculous! I'm also really short, so can't see over the top of a parasol!

The only parasol I've had that worked was a Silver Cross one, the others have all been awkward or flap around in the wind too much. I've now got one of these which has a big elastic loop that stretches around the seat unit, and the ties tie onto the side of the chassis or the handlebar. It's a drawstring one so you can move the fabric backwards away from the handlebar if you want to. It works surprisingly well for such a simple thing and it folds up teeny weeny to put in the basket or even a changing bag pocket or something. I like that they're not just boring black and they don't completely cover all access to the child like many do.
