Silvercross Surf (£600) + carrycot (£150) = £750.

For that price, you'd be better to invest in the Bugaboo Cameleon (Bugaboo Cameleon Limited Edition - All Black £765.00 in Pramworld). I've never heard a bad word said about that pram, and the Cameleon 3 is due to come out soon :)

I wouldnt buy the Surf....lots of reasons but the storage is rubbish, the fold / unfold is just odd. The front wheels are so tiny they get stuck everywhere, the seat unit is huge to store - it won't squash flat whereas the chassis itself is really very neat. No adjustable footrest. If you don't use the carrycot then the snug insert is very on the surface of the seat plus the straps cut in around the side. I woud definitely buy a carrycot. The fabric straps are a nightmare. The lower bits pop off everytime you undo / go to do the harness up plus the fact they are a canvas type material means they fold under do it slowly gets harder to thread them back on again!
The positives - its got a huge seat, nice liner, comes with parasol (for what it's worth) and looks pretty. But there's far better pushchairs out there.
