Preventing punctures in air-filled tyres.

I am considering kevlar tape to prevent punctures. I haven't applied it yet. If you have successfully tried it, or any other method, please share, thanks.

Tyre slime is good just pump it straight into the inner tube and it sort of solidifies, you can get it at most bike shops.

Haven't tried the tape though.
