Anyone waiting for the Easywalker June

I emailed them and apparently the expected date of delivery in the UK is now end of September.

I've also been told of two London Easywalker stockists: Blossom Mother and Child, W11 and Baybiz, NW4.

I was told last week that the date was now the third week of Sept which is a shame but not unusual. I know of four other stockists which include Pramland in Hull, Twins-store (with the yellow ducks) and Ladybugs. I can't remember the name of the other but it's Cheshire / Lancs way. I didn't realise that the hoods can be easily mixed and matched as the liners can. I thought you were stuck with your choice of hood but seemingly not so. I can't wait for mine - I think it's as near a perfect pushchair as I can get....I just hope it lives up to expectations. The Versa GT is due around the same time too.

At the moment I am keenest on the Uppababy Cruz Tiggy - just need to go try it out in store. But we had a little look in john lewis and DH gravitated immediately to the Uppababy Vista so that has to be a good sign... (neither of us took to the Bee, and the iCandy Strawberry was nice but heavyish).

Oh and the Cruz is apparently in stores from any time now...

Tiggywunkle · 17/07/2012 21:33

I have a Cruz on order too :)

minipie · 17/07/2012 22:43

Confused this may be a real pram virgin question but why would you need a Cruz and a June? or would you return one ...

Tiggywunkle · 17/07/2012 23:10

LOL just to try out!

Ihateparties · 17/07/2012 23:15

Minipie oh my gosh... the odd few on here... probably more than a few of us in fact, have (and do) have quite a number of prams at any one time not sure how many to admit to and an even more frightening number should history be taken into account.
I would LOVE a June if only it were cheaper!

Tiggywunkle · 17/07/2012 23:51

I think I am quite restrained really ;)
Its ages since I had a new pushchair!!! Oooppps....ok that was a lie....I got one for my birthday last week.....but before that....it was a while!

minipie · 18/07/2012 10:41

Gosh! I had assumed you'd get rid of one when you got a new one... clearly very naive Grin you must have excellent storage space at home...

OP posts:
Ihateparties · 18/07/2012 13:17

or a home extremely full of pushchairs...

minipie · 18/07/2012 13:25

Grin I am picturing them all sitting in the hallway...

Tiggy when do you get your Cruz? Would love to hear your tried & tested thoughts.

OP posts:
Ihateparties · 18/07/2012 13:35

lol.. in the hallway, under beds, in cupboards, behind the sofa, in the bathroom (oh yes).. Yeah Tiggy, when is your Cruz coming?

Tiggywunkle · 18/07/2012 15:28

Absolutely no idea but I noticed the Uppababy Facebook page says they should be with retailers next week (I didn't look at the date it was posted though!). I am fed up of expecting pushchairs and them not turning up so I have a more laid back approach called "the pushchair surprise"!"

Tiggywunkle · 18/07/2012 15:29

LOL at ihateparties - the bath is a good place or under a cot, at the end of a bed.....

Tiggywunkle · 18/07/2012 15:29

Just to qualify that - we do have a shower and we do use the bath!! LOL

minipie · 18/07/2012 15:48

Grin no wonder small fold size is important to you

OP posts:
anthonys · 19/07/2012 08:25

It is on my short list, along with the Jane muum - they are the top two but only ones I've been unable to try. Seems like the June is similar features to a cameleon but a better fold and slightly cheaper..

Tiggywunkle · 19/07/2012 10:48

Ihateparties might be able to help you. She has seen the June and had the Muum briefly - she sent it back but I think it was for personal reasons rather than the pushchair not being good! She now as the Jane Twone.
I love the June though and it's one of the few pushchairs that I can realistically see people using from birth to three or even five (if necessary) because it's so neat that you woudnt ever want to swap for anything smaller plus the seat unit is such a good size. I haven't seen an older baby in RL sitting in the seat though but have no reason to worry. It just seems to tick all my boxes for a good take anywhere, do anything with any age child, with any height parent, plus some storage space boxes! Easywalker have great build quality too and I have seen an adult sat in the June and TBH if I were starting again from birth, the June is probably the pushchair I would go for. But...this is all based on a quick look and try and on paper / photos. Until the final pushchair arrives and it's used in real life we a) wont know and b) don't know if anything has changed.
I say this because ihateparties has got her Twone and Jane have altered the basket area which to me was part of the critical usefulness of the pushchair. I thought given there was some basket space that it would be perfect, but now it's gone, its back to the drawing board because I need to be able to carry even a purse, nappy, wipes, phone and keys easily and hopefully far more on a pushchair!! Fingers crossed the June is perfect!
